German striker Lukas Podolski scored 2 goals and German made a win with a score of 2-0 victory over Poland. 
Podolski, in the 72 min. took advantage of confusion in the Polish defence and scored.
It was Germany's 1.st victory in the European finals since they won the tournament in 1996 in the final in England.
Germany go to the top of Group B on goal difference and is ahead of Croatia that has beaten Austria 1-0 in Vienna.
Podolski combined with Germany's other Polish-born forward Miroslav Klose for his first goal on 20 minutes and after that, he made an unstoppable volley on 72 min.
