Gianluigi Buffon saved a penalty at 81" by Adrian Mutu. Italy had a 1-1 draw with Romania that kept their Euro 2008 hopes alive on. Striker Mutu put Romania ahead 10 minutes into the
second half when he pounced on Gianluca Zambrotta's header. But Italy leveled immediately as Christian Panucci prodded the ball over the line following a Giorgio Chiellini header.
