Liverpool, Real Madrid and Arsenal lead the latest transfer talk on March 18, with Xabi Alonso, Jude Bellingham and Rafael Leão among the biggest names in circulation. The latest roundup also includes fresh reports involving Jadon Sancho, Pau Cubarsí, Morgan Rogers and Ricardo Pepi.
Liverpool, Arsenal And Manchester United Linked With Major Moves
TEAMtalk reported that Xabi Alonso has entered discussions around the Liverpool job with a three-player wishlist featuring Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni, Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton and Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola. The trio are valued at a combined $327 million (£245 million).
Arsenal are considering a move for AC Milan forward Rafael Leão, according to Fichajes. The same report says the Portugal international could cost $92.3 million (£69.1 million, €80 million), with Arsenal’s interest tied to growing discussion around Gabriel Martinelli’s future.
Manchester United are also prominent in the latest gossip. Fichajes linked United with AZ Alkmaar youngster Kees Smit, while The Times reported Borussia Dortmund are confident of securing Jadon Sancho on a permanent deal once his Manchester United contract expires in the summer. Mark Brus also reported that Joshua Zirkzee wants a return to Serie A, although Juventus, Milan and Napoli are only interested in a loan.
Elsewhere in the Premier League, TEAMtalk stated that Aston Villa want more than $133.5 million (£100 million) for Morgan Rogers amid Chelsea interest. BBC Sport reported Fulham have arranged a medical for PSV Eindhoven striker Ricardo Pepi in a deal worth $38 million (£28.5 million), although he would not be eligible to play in the Premier League until next summer.

Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham is another headline name. Fichajes reported that Madrid are willing to listen to offers for the England international, who is valued at $173 million (£129.6 million, €150 million), with Manchester United and Chelsea named as admirers.
Barcelona’s defensive plans also feature in the latest reports. Fichajes said Inter rejected an initial bid for Bastoni worth up to $75 million (€65 million) and now want closer to $92.3 million, while the same outlet linked Manchester City with a swap proposal involving Pau Cubarsí and Omar Marmoush.
In Spain, DefensaCentral reported that Real Madrid are seriously considering a $17.3 million (€15 million) bid from Sunderland for Thiago Pitarch after only seven senior appearances. Atlético Madrid, meanwhile, are interested in Sporting CP captain Morten Hjulmand, again according to Fichajes.
Other names remain in play across Europe. El Nacional linked Barcelona with Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy as a possible Robert Lewandowski replacement, while Sky Switzerland reported Newcastle United are tracking Lens goalkeeper Robin Risser. CaughtOffside added that Crystal Palace, Everton and West Ham United are exploring a loan move for Arsenal left back Myles Lewis-Skelly, and Ekrem Konur reported Chelsea are at an advanced stage in their efforts to bring Valentín Barco from Strasbourg to Stamford Bridge.
